Round brass barrel. Brass barrel tang. The step-bolted lock is plain throughout, with plain hammer, and unbridled frizzen. Simple brass furniture with brass butt cap. Trigger guard with urn finial. Brass ramrod pipes. Maple (?) walnut full stock. CONDITION: Good throughout, attractive verdigris patination at touch hole. Stock with only minor marks. Lock has aged patination on frizzen spring. Lock itself cleaned over pitting. Top jaw and screw possibly replaced. Stock with over-varnish but otherwise good throughout with only minor marks. Action is good. Bore is patinated with verdigris. One minor tight crack ahead of one side nail. From the Robert Sadler Collection.
