The factory letter states that this revolver was shipped to E.C. Meacham Arms Company in St. Louis on April 13, 1893 in a shipment of five guns. It was shipped just as it remains today with a 4-3/4" barrel, nickel finish, caliber .32-20 with grips not listed. It currently sports a pair of Navajo style sterling silver two piece grips. CONDITION: All legends are sharp. Screws retain some original blue. The cylinder is basically a grey patina which blends with the original nickel finish. The black powder screw in frame retains 85% original nickel with balance perfectly blended. The barrel and ejector housing retains approximately the same amount of finish as the frame. The trigger guard retains almost 90% finish while the backstrap is grey patina. All four perfect clicks. Locks up tight. The bore exhibits strong rifling but grooves are slightly frosted. This is a really sharp and clean revolver that is rather scarce in this barrel length and caliber.
