Made in Austria and exported for use in the American Civil War. Gun has the name "H.B. Usher" stamped on the left side (probably an inspector mark). Percussion lock with numbered lock. Round rifled barrel with blade front sight and notched rear. Walnut carbine stock with carbine butt, sling bar and cheekpiece. Iron furniture with pronounced grip trigger guard. CONDITION: Overall good condition with usage marks. Wood probably cleaned at one time. Good mechanics. DLM
