Circa 1862-1865. This sporting rifle features a full octagon barrel, dove tail front sight, folding rear sight, walnut stock with rifle butt plate, matching forearm with metal tip, bottom manual ejector and matching visible serial numbers. CONDITION: Good. Metal was refinished long ago and you cannot see the Ball & Williams legend on either side of frame. Metal is a blue grey patina. Stock has a screw wrist repair with scattered dents. Bore is well defined but has abrasion.
