Considered to be the finest copy of the Colt Black powder revolvers ever produced, this Model 1860 Army Colt revolver is finished in the traditional way as were the original guns with the same polish, case colors and walnut grips. The rolled Ormsby cylinder scene is crisp and legible unlike most all other reproductions. Four screw pattern and readily adaptable for shoulder stock use. The blued 8" barrel is marked U.S.F.A. MFG.Co. Hartford CT.USA. Vividly case colored rammer, frame and hammer. The walnut grips are finished in the same oil finish as the early martial Model 1860 army revolvers. The fit and finish is outstanding. Revolver is complete with an additional cylinder numbered and fitted to the gun. Comes in its factory black box with instruction manual. CONDITION. Very fine. The external finish is very fine with little indication of use. Slight blue loss is found at the muzzle from box wear. The action is smooth and operates properly. The grips are excellent with no distress. The bore has some very light pitting and appears that the gun was test fired and left unattended for a while. The barrel has been cleaned and slight pitting is evident. This will not effect its operation . The box is very good with oil stained label and is fully intact.
