The top of the barrel is stamped C. Moore 77 St. James Street London. The actions are stamped C. Moores Patent. Charles Moore first set up shop in 1821 in Regent Circus. He operated at 77 St. James street from 1825 until 1842 which is where and when this gun was made. It features twin 6" barrels in .620 bore sans rifling. Both of the engraved hammers have individual safeties. Each barrel has its own trigger. The finely finished and checkered walnut stock features a piano finish. The hammers, actions and trigger-guard are all delicately engraved. Pistol features an ebony top and the swivel loading rod. CONDITION: Both hammers are in working condition but the left nipple is missing. Wood is in excellent shape. Bores are a bit dingy.
