The Remington derringer was a favorite hideout gun for gamblers and women. This gun is period engraved with a foliate pattern and has about 50% coverage. It is adorned with two-piece mother-of-pearl grips. It is housed in a leather-covered French fitted case with 27 rounds of .41 short rimfire ammunition. In the top of the case it is retailer marked "J.B. CROOK & CO. / GUNS & PISTOLS / 1180 BROADWAY, N.Y.". CONDITION: This gun has been cleaned of all the finish. The action works great. Bright and shiney bores with sharp lands and grooves. The right grip is cracked and has been repaired. The case is in very good condition.
