You will find the full or partial all matching numbers on frame, barrel, cylinder, cylinder pin, loading lever, wedge, trigger guard and backstrap. Revolver has standard 4" octagon barrel with New York barrel address, blue and case color finish with nickel plated trigger guard and backstrap with varnished one piece walnut grips. CONDITION: All legends are sharp and the stage coach cylinder scene is still sharp. There are still some flashes of blue on protected area of barrel but metal is basically a soft patina having never been cleaned or polished. The grips are excellent and retain the majority of their varnish. The straps retains 90% of their original factory nickel finish. Cylinder advances correctly. The rifling is sharp. The wooden case is period with maroon lining that has faded almost brown. The brass two cavity mold is marked Colt. The brass screw open cap container is not marked.This is a nice period cased Colt set.
