Absolutely Stunning cased pair of J.D Eaton petite bar hammer muff pistols with screw barrels. Finished in a high polish heat blue with a round to octagon barrel with diminutive wedding band transition. Double action bar hammer action and elaborately scroll engraved with light foliate and single borders. The 2 piece oil finished walnut bag grips are nicely figured. The case colored bar hammers match the case colored triggers. Pistols are cased with makers label on interior lid and correct mold/barrel spanner. The varnished walnut case is partitioned and finely lined. CONDITION: Absolutely stunning and in a as new and museum condition. Only the slightest trace of handling at extreme edges. These petite little pistols are truly the finest extant.
