Made from 1883 to 1895 with approximately 7,300 made. Features damascus barrels with concave rib, stamped Colt address, extractors, automatic safety and double triggers. Gun has walnut checkered stock with round knob pistol grip, Bakelite Colt logo buttplate, and checkered splinter forearm with latch release and ebony inlay. CONDITION: Barrels retain 60% damascus pattern with shootable bores. Action has 30% fading colors wearing to a silvery appearance. Forearm iron is worn silver and trigger guard has 40% original blue. Wood has nice hand rubbed appearance (possibly cleaned) with sharp checkering and minor handling marks. Nice clean example of a rare shotgun.
