One of the harder Colt Percussion guns to find. Octagonal barrel with a brass post front sight, a V notch rear sight is cut into the hammer. 5-shot cylinder with stage coach holdup scene. Varnished 1-piece wood grip. All the serial numbers match on the following parts: barrel, frame, trigger guard, back strap, wedge, and the grip. "ADDRESS COL SAML COLT NEW-YORK U S AMERICA" on top of the barrel. "COLTS / PATENT" on the left side of the frame. CONDITION: Gun has an even brown patina. There are a few dings and bruises scattered across the gun. Dark bore with frosting in the lands and grooves. Grips are fair with some of the original varnish.
