(A) COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45 LC REVOLVER (1898)
Produced in 1898. The revolver has all matching numbers, including the grips. Features a single line gothic letter barrel address with roll marked caliber designation. The smokeless case color frame features a two line patent date and Rampant Colt in a circle. The grips are two piece checkered hard rubber. The cylinder features heavy bevels on the cylinder flutes. CONDITION: The revolver exhibits honest wear throughout. There is wear to the sides of the barrel near the muzzle. Wear to the leading edge of the ejector housing. The cylinder has consistent wear and some bluing loss with grey patina. The case colors are still evident, but muted. The grip straps are an even grey/plum patina. The bore is bright with pinpricking mid bore.
