(A) EARLY 18TH CENTURY DUTCH FLINTLOCK WENDER.

This late 17th or early 18th century wender features long twin three-stage barrels, each with an indistinct maker's mark. Barrels separated by walnut strips, one side with a ramrod. Each barrel has a frizzen with frizzen spring and engraved lockplates. Lock with cock is on right side and has a very long rear tang engraved with foliate scrolls. Iron furniture including trigger guard with lever in front to turn barrel group. Walnut stock with relief carving around lock, sideplate, barrel tang, and on forends around locks and entry ferrule. CONDITION: All iron components retains a light grey patina. Mechanism crisp and function s properly. Cock likely a period replacement. Stock very good with some scattered marks from use. A very scarce early wender.
