(A) HIGH CONDITION MARLIN BALLARD UNION HILL .32-40 SINGLE SHOT RIFLE.
This rifle features the octagon-to-round barrel with a globe front sight and a Marlin Gallery peep tang sight. The case color frame has Marlin stamp with no "JM". Case color loop lever and hammer. Single trigger. The walnut stock features a checkered pistol grip, straight comb, roll over cheek piece, and Marlin gutta percha monogram butt plate. The checkered forearm has a slight Schnabled tip. Fit with a 19" 3/4" tube scope stamped "8X" along with "200 yds & over" which are believed to be made by Winchester. CONDITION: Excellent. Frame retains at least 75% dulling case color. Barrel retains the majority of its fine blue exhibiting nominal handling. Mechanically sound with bright bore. Stocks are excellent showing nominal impressions. This is a stellar rifle in a great caliber.
