This is a Martially marked Army single shot .50 centerfire made from 1872-1888. It features a blued round barrel, case colored rolling block action, with walnut grip and forend. The left grip has a sharp "CRS" Curtis R. Stickney cartouche. Left side of frame is stamped "P-S" with patent dates. CONDITION: Pistol has seen little use. The barrel retains approximately 95% original factory blue with some light muzzle wear and a few handling marks. The frame displays 95% plus case colors, most bright. Legends are sharp. Wood is near mint. Hammer and block finished in the white. Mirror bore and fine action. About as nice an example as one could hope to find.
