Lot consists of: Pair in identical configuration as made by Henry Deringer of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania circa 1830. Twist pattern rounded octagonal rifled barrel with brass bead front sight with patent breech percussion ignition system marked on top "Deringer Philadel'a". Case hardened scroll engraved back action lock marked "Deringer Philadel'a" controlled by a single trigger. Walnut checkered stock with German silver barrel escutcheon plate, nose cap, thumbpiece, flash protector and butt inlay. Comes with ebony brass tipped ramrod. CONDITION: Gun has 80% overall original finish remaining with great mechanics and bore. (B) Same configuration as pistol (A) and could be a mate to it although neither are marked indicating such. CONDITION: Same condition as (A) only missing ramrod. DLM
