Gun A) Half stock percussion rifle with octagonal rifled barrel. Flat percussion lockplate with illegible markings. Brass furniture, figured maple half-stock and missing ramrod. Fair to poor condition. Barrel has dark brown patina with pitting near breech. Lock is rusted and pitted brown patina and does not function, cock screw replaced. Brass is dark and unpolished, stock poor with scattered marks from use and several areas with losses to wood. B) Contemporary half-stock pistol-gripped percussion rifle with an octagonal rifled barrel. Flat percussion lockplate with sprig of engraving at tail and engraved border, brass pan around nipple. Steel triggerguard with double set triggers, brass buttplate and sideplate and pewter nose-cap. Figured maple half-sock. Very good condition. Barrel with dark patina, lock retains light grey patina, scattered marks from use.
