This example has the 1841 date on lock with Waters legend. The left side barrel is stamped "US", "JH", and "P". The left side of the walnut stock has two inspector cartouche stamps, "JH" for Joseph Hannis and "WAT" for Willian A Thornton. All iron furniture, swivel loading rod, and professionally reconverted back to flintlock using original parts. CONDITION: Very good. Working order. All metal is a clean smooth patina with scattered freckling. All legends are sharp. Stock is solid but usual dings. Bore has some abrasions.
