This was Remington's first rolling block single shot pistol and was made for the US Navy. This example has no serial number and there is no FCW P inspector stamp either which leads us to believe that this pistol was waylaid from the factory but the Anchor stamp at breech is present. Standard features include the blued round barrel, pinched front sight, spur trigger, walnut one piece grip with matching forearm. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel retains no finish and has some heat signs at base. Frame is void of color and displays some moderate corrosion on left side near trigger. Stocks are solid. Legends all legible. Mechanically sound with a defined bore showing some abrasion.
