The live portion of this session begins on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.
First offered in 1880, this early rifle features the octagon to round barrel with the E. Remington & Sons Ilion NY legend. Both of the barrel sight slots now retain the scope mounts for the unmarked Moog style 34" 3/4" tube scope. The frame and trigger guard are case color with nitre blued hammer and block. Single trigger. Frame exhibits the Hepburn patent. The deluxe walnut stock features the checkered round knob, roll over cheek piece, and the nickel Swiss butt plate. The forearm is checkered en suite with a metal forearm tip. Matching serial numbers on barrel, frame, and butt plate. CONDITION: Excellent. Retains nearly all its bright case colors darkening on trigger guard and upper tang. Stock is excellent with sharp checkering. Mechanically sound with a bright bore. The scope still has crisp fine cross hair optics.
