This is a standard model with 5-1/2" barrel, factory nickel finish in .44-40 caliber. Gun has lanyard. CONDITION: Barrel legends are barely visible and gun retains approximately 15% original nickel with balance dark brown patina. Revolver sports period vintage real ivory grips that do not fit well. Action needs work. Strong rifling with residue and is frosted. Has a great 1880's cowboy look. CORRECTION: Upon further inspection, it has been discovered that this is actually a Model 1875 Remington Mexican Contract revolver with Sunburst on barrel top and numbered 804. The barrel has been shortened and a reproduction barrel web added.
