Manufactured from 1873-1878, the major difference of the 3rd model is the integral front sight and the shorter extractor. It features single action, factory nickle finish, large top strap screw, barrel address in English says "Russian", with a sash hook trigger guard, blued extractor, latch and trigger, non-checkered two piece walnut grips. Butt is stamped "1974" in a box and letter "P". Case colored guard has turned patina. Overall the revolver retains 85% of the original factory nickle; barrel retains 85-90% nickle, turning patina at muzzle with some light bubbling; 50% nickle on cylinder; and 85-90% nickle on frame. Right grip panel is stamped with matching serial number. Case colors have darkened, extractor still shows fire blue. Assembly number "316" on latch, cylinder and frame. Indexes and locks up like new with a fine strong bore. Includes a period black leather flap holster in very good condition.
