Maker marked with New York on barrel flats. Features the bar hammer, six shot, single action, lightly engraved frame with walnut bag style grips. William Marston partnered with Robert Knox in the mid 19th century in NYC and formed the short lived Marston & Knox company that operated at 781 Washington Street. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Very crisp gun that is now a clean and smooth patina with sharp legends. Grips are fine but action is not working. The smooth bores show some abrasion.
