A very rare and desirable factory engraved "Big" Colt New Line with extremely rare case colored frame and factory pearl grips; serial No. 615. This superb .41 caliber factory engraved New Line has nearly all of its original bright factory blue on barrel, with rare and attractive oval framing the German silver front sight. Case colored frame is beautifully engraved and retains considerable original bright case colors, with beautiful flower petal engraved on left side and masterful scroll work on left. Cylinder retains much original bright bluing with some fading and wear on high points. Hammer retains nearly all of its bright bluing on saddle and sides remain with their bright factory polish. Bore is fine. Beautiful factory pearl grips show lovely fire with no significant chips and only one extremely minor sliver missing from left grip at toe. Base pin retains nearly all its original finish and is not marred. One of the most attractive of the "Big" .41 New Lines.
