The last official US issued flintlock pistol. Lock is stamped "R. JOHNSON MIDDn CONN 1841". Barrel breech has the "JCB" inspector stamp along with proof "P", and "US". Features small brass front sight, swivel ramrod, one piece walnut stock with two crisp inspector cartouche stamps on left side, and iron hardware and furniture in the white. CONDITION: Fine. Metal shows light oxidation with sharp legends. Stock is fine with nominal impressions. Action has been reconverted. Mechanically sound. Bore is very crisp. PROVENANCE: Ex. Castlerock Museum.
