Standard issue with brass furniture including the single barrel band, swivel ramrod, brass front sight, and the single piece walnut stock. Lock is stamped "US H. ASTON" along with "MIDDtn CONN 1850". Left side barrel breech exhibits the "WN" inspector stamp along with "US", proof "P", and letter "N". Tang is stamped "1850". Left side of stock exhibits a hand carved "FE". CONDITION: Fine. Brass has been cleaned. Hardware shows minor oxidation. Legends are clear. Stock is solid. Mechanically fine. The bore shows nominal abrasion. PROVENANCE: Ex. Castlerock Museum.
