The lock is dated 1865 with "US SPRINGFIELD" and eagle while the rear of cut barrel reads "864" for 1864. This is a three band with full length walnut stock. All metal is finished in the white, with exception to the block, lock and hammer. Includes a metal rod. CONDITION: Excellent. All the white metal is clean with light oxidation. The block retains most blue with some freckling. The lock and hammer have faded to a blue grey patina. All legends are sharp.
