(A) WATERS M1836 CONVERTED U.S. PERCUSSION PISTOL.

This example has the 1844 date on lock with Waters legend. The left side of the walnut stock has two inspector cartouche stamps to include "JH" for Joseph Hannis and "WAT" for Willian A Thornton. All iron furniture, swivel loading rod, converted from flintlock to percussion. CONDITION: Very good. All metal is a clean smooth patina. Lock legends are sharp. There is the usual abrasion around the nipple. Bore is fairly clean with some abrasion.
