(A) WATERS M1836 U.S. CONVERTED PERCUSSION PISTOL.

This example has the 1840 date on lock with Waters legend. The left side barrel is stamped US, NWP, P. The left side of the walnut stock has two inspector cartouche stamps that are visible but not legible which would be JH (Joseph Hannis) and WAT (Willian A Thornton). All iron furniture, swivel loading rod, converted from flintlock to percussion. CONDITION: Very good. Working order. All metal is a clean smooth patina. All legends are sharp. Stock is solid but usual dings. Bore has some abrasions.
