Made in 1892. Etched on left side-plate is "A. Crosby 1894". It is a standard rifle with full octagon barrel, full magazine, blue finish, and walnut stocks with rifle butt. CONDITION: The barrel and tube are a smooth mix of blue and soft patina with sharp edges and legends. The frame still retains about a third of the original high polish factory blue that has turned and blending in a homogeneous finish. The wood is untouched, proud to metal, with usual minor finish loss and impressions with a great piece of walnut. Case colors have darkened. The rifling is still defined and the action is smooth.
