Rifle was originally manufactured in occupied Czechoslovakia in 1944. Production of ZF41 snipers was undertaken by Mauser Oberndorf, Mauser Borsigwalde, and Berlin-Lubecker, although other conversions are known. Rifle is finished in blue with blade front sight, tangent rear, Heer acceptance marked laminate stocks, milled forward band, stamped rear band, stamped bottom metal, and cupped butt plate. Beveled roller style scope mount correctly marked with "duv" code and eagle over "214" Berlin-Lubecker waffenamt, as well as serial number "8322" and "K98k Zf.41." marking. Scope marked with "cxn" manufacturer code and serial number "119546". Externally visible numbers matching on rifle. No visible import marks. Includes leather sling. CONDITION: Rifle retains significant portions of reapplied finish with freckling throughout. Stocks have been sanded and reoiled with repaired laminate separation. Good, strong bore. Fine mechanics. Optic is clouded.
