(C) BELGIAN BROWNING A5 SWEET SIXTEEN SEMI-AUTOMATIC SHOTGUN.
Dates to 1956. This famous model was first produced in 1937. This standard example features the lightly engraved receiver with the "SWEET SIXTEEN" legend on left side. Finish is standard blue brandishing a matted barrel with silver bead on base front sight, gold trigger, walnut stock with checkered round knob and the FN monogram black composition butt plate along with the matching checkered forearm. CONDITION: Fine. Receiver retains at least 8% blue displaying some overall thinning with lower tang drifting patina and handling marks. Barrel retains nearly all of its blue finish with minor handling marks. Stock is excellent, retaining the sharp checkering, revealing some scattered mars and impressions. The forearm displays a very small hairline starting to show itself at base. Bore is bright.
