Produced in 1911, this pistol is based on the 1902 Sporting model. Features a polished blue finish with case color hammer. The grips are checkered hard rubber. The magazine is two tone with a temper line. The slide is roll marked with the Colt address and patent dates. The right side of slide is roll marked with the caliber designation. The Rampant Colt appears on the left rear of the slide. There is a verified proof on the front bow of the trigger guard. CONDITION: High edge wear, more apparent at the muzzle. The slide flats have edge wear. The grip straps are full. The case colors are strong on the hammer. The grips are free of cracks or chips. Mechanically fine, bore with strong rifling and some frosting towards muzzle.
