Model 1877 "Thunderer" manufactured by Colt in 1902. The left side of the barrel bears the caliber designation, with Colt's 2-line address across the top. Left side of frame bears patent information followed by the encircled Rampant Colt logo. Frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt brown hard rubber checkered grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame, trigger guard, and butt. CONDITION: Metal components retain traces of their original factory applied finish, exhibiting wear and surface oxidation overall, with the balance exhibiting a mottled gray patina. Dark bore, exhibiting pitting, oxidation, and good rifling throughout. Hard rubber grips exhibit smoothing overall and a few scattered marks from handling and storage, but are otherwise sturdy and serviceable.
