New Service Target manufactured by Colt in 1926. The left side of the barrel bears the model and caliber designation, while the top of the barrel bears Colt's 2-line address. Left side of frame bears the Rampant Colt logo. Metal components are blued, while the frame is mounted with 2-piece Colt silver medallion checkered fleur-de-lis grips. Grips match the frame via a hand-written serial number on the interior of the panels. Front sight blade has been replaced with an ivory equivalent. CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting wear and thinning on either side of the barrel, with scattered superficial marks from handling and storage, with mild scattered surface oxidation present on the frame. Mirror bore exhibiting sharp, well-defined rifling throughout. Grips exhibit smoothing and some scattered marks and impressions from storage and handling, but are otherwise fine.
