Officers Model revolver manufactured by Colt. The left side of the barrel is stamped " *OFFICERS MODEL 38* ", with Colt's 2-line address across the top. Left side of frame bears the Rampant Colt logo and "VP" proof. Features include a blue finish, 6" barrel, aftermarket front sight, micro target rear sight, as well as 2-piece Colt gold medallion checkered walnut grips. CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their original blue finish, exhibiting some small areas of wear as well as light surface oxidation overall, which is mainly on the right side of the frame. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips show a few nicks to the diamonds, but are otherwise fine. MLW
