(C) COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY REVOLVER IN .38 WCF (1915).
Manufactured in 1915, This revolver has the standard blue and case color finishes. The hammer has the fine checkering with no border. The barrel has a factory error roll mark address as its a two line on a 5 - 1/2" barrel; see Cochran's "Colt Peacemaker Reference Book", page 2. The frame has a two line patent date and Rampant Colt. The grips are checkered hard rubber with eagle and are earlier than the revolver. CONDITION: Barrel retains nearly all of its finish, with the majority of loss confined to the muzzle. The cylinder has consistent wear on all of its surfaces. The majority of the case colors on the frame and hammer are intact, and only starting to fade. The bore is clean and bright. The hammer notches are intact and the revolver is mechanically sound.
