(C) CUSTOM ENGRAVED COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .32-20 REVOLVER, SHIPPED TO COPPER QUEEN MINING COMPANY.
Manufactured 1902 by Colt, and documented by serial number as shipped to the Copper Queen Mining Company when Dalrymple copied the records from Colt in 1970; see Colt Peacemaker Encyclopedia by Cochran, pgs. 114-116. Blue finished with 2 piece smooth aged bone grips with Maltese cross on right side. Custom engraved with tight scroll and vine on barrel, ejector rod housing, frame, trigger guard, cylinder, and grip straps. Engine turned and polished hammer. Frame has traverse cylinder pin retainer and is marked with 2 line patent markings with Rampant Colt monogram to rear of markings. Engraving is finely executed and amounts to C coverage. The engraving is done in the New York style with tasteful double line borders. CONDITION: Extremely fine as custom embellished. Bore is very fine and action operates properly with solid lock up. Grips are excellent and well fit. Mechanically excellent.
