(C) DELUXE WINCHESTER 1886 .33 WCF LEVER ACTION RIFLE
Manufactured 1910. Deluxe lightweight takedown Model 1886 chambered for .33 Winchester with half length magazine. Blue finished with ramped blade sporting front sight and elevation adjustable rear sight. Fitted with period Lyman folding tang sight. Tapered round barrel and hard rubber shotgun butt with Winchester monogram at center. Mounted with extraordinary highly figured piano varnished checkered deluxe stocks with pistol grip and Winchester pistol grip cap. CONDITION: Very good with over 90% blue finish on barrel. Receiver has some period oxidation/pitting on top left side of receiver and finish loss at balance point. Bore is brilliant, bright, with sharp rifling. Action lock up is tight and barrel lock up is rigid. Mechanically excellent with excellent wood stocks with some light bruises and period of use rubs.
