(C) DOCUMENTED COLT MODEL 1902 SPORTING .38 SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL
Manufactured 1907 and shipped to Schoverling, Daly, and Gales in New York City. Excellent Colt Model 1902 Sporting Model .38 Automatic pistol with brilliant high polish blue finish and blue finished barrel. Fixed blade front sight with drift adjustable rear sight. Fire blue finished trigger cross pins and grips screws and checkered gutta percha grips with Rampant colt monogram at center and "COLT" in block lettering at top. This outstanding condition pistol is documented with a factory letter address to noted Colt Collector and Authority Dick Burdick who past away several years ago. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine with 98% finish with a trace of edge wear. Brilliant bore and and crisp markings. Mechanically excellent. A superb example.
