(C) FAZAKERLEY SMLE NO. 4 MK 2 .303 BRITISH BOLT ACTION RIFLE.
British No.4 MK2 SMLE rifle, manufactured 1955 at ROF Fazakerley Arsenal in Liverpool. These late production rifles are recognized for their excellent quality and attention to fit and finish. 1300 yard micrometer rear sight with MKII trigger. Metal finished in black Vulcanite epoxy with light stained oil finished stocks numbered to rifle. Mounted with khaki SMLE cotton rifle sling. CONDITION: Exceptionally fine with 99% finish remaining with brilliant bright bore and no evidence of actual use. Small import marking at muzzle. Wood is excellent with some light handling. All matching serial numbers including magazine. Mechanically excellent.
