For whatever reason, Winchester had issues with the finish simply flaking off the frames after little use. It was obviously corrected but here is a perfect example of that flaw. CONDITION: The barrel and tube retain at least 95% original factory blue finish with few handling marks and minor edge wear. The 10% factory blue that remains on frame and trigger guard is bright while balance has flaked to a soft patina. The octagon barrel displays razor sharp legends with standard sights. The walnut stocks are lovely with just a couple of impressions. The rifling is sharp and the action is like new. A really clean and sharp Model 90.
