This fine combination gun, the maker of which is unknown to us, appears to be of high quality with Hensoldt Wetzlar Dural Dialytan 4x claw mounted scope. Made with double triggers, extractors, and non-auto safety. Splinter forend with engraved Deeley type release is checkered in point pattern. Scalloped and reinforced boxlock action is near fully engraved with floral pattern and deer on right and stag and deer on left. Large horn trigger guard. Capped pistol grip buttstock with cheek piece on left side, sling swivel, is checkered in point pattern through the wrist and terminates in a modern black recoil pad. Greener crossbolt locking. Matted top rib, which is raised, also has a flip up sight and blade front sight. CONDITION: Excellent as field used. Barrels retain most of an older restored finish. Action is coin finished and retains most of its finish. Stocks are very good having been restored long ago with subsequent handling marks and finish added for preservation. Mechanics are crisp. Bores are bright and shiny. Optics are a touch cloudy. An interesting gun with very nice engraving. JSL
