Lot #2246:
(C) FINE WINCHESTER MODEL 90 SLIDE ACTION RIFLE.
Dates to 1924. Standard take down rifle features the blue finish, full octagon barrel, 2/3 magazine, dovetailed bead front sight, flat top sporting rear sight, walnut stock with rifle butt plate and small grooved forearm. CONDITION: Fine. Barrel retains nearly all of its blue finish with nominal handling. Tube retains some strong blue that is simply flaking. Frame retains about 20% bright blue with balance flaked to a soft homogenous patina. The bolt retains nearly all of its bright blue. Stocks are excellent, proud to metal, showing nominal impressions. Mechanically sound with a well defined slightly frosted bore. This is a really clean example.
