Made in West Germany circa 1959-1961. The stock is birds eye maple with extra high comb Monte Carlo and roll over cheek piece. The contrasting grip cap with white diamond appears to be ebony as is the foreend tip which has the single oak leaf carving. The carving on the grip as well as base of foreend is the pattern 11 oak leaf style. The ebony and ivory inlay on both sides of forend are pattern 60. The right side of stock features an exquisitely carved antlered game scene with woods and mountains in the back ground. The trigger guard and floor plate are finely engraved in same oak leaf pattern with silver inlay antlered game. All of this work appears to be factory custom shop work of the highest quality. Standard features include blue finish, no barrel sights, fluted bolt and sporting a Zeiss 6.5-20x50 scope. (scope and mounts are more modern than rifle). CONDITION: Excellent. Stock has a few light impressions. One small spot on forend tip, light muzzle wear and light handling. Bore is bright.
