The crown over B proof indicates passage through Germany pre 1939. Right side of barrel has B, G and U crown proofs with 67/49This proofs are stamped on the right side of bolt. The G proof and numbers indicates done prior to 1912. All other features are standard to include the full magazine, two barrel bands, European style swivels, post front sight, folding ladder rear sight, carbine curved iron butt plate, saddle ring and stud, blue finish and walnut stocks. Standard Marlin legends atop the barrel, frame and upper tang. CONDITION: Very good to fine. Retains the vast majority of its reapplied blue finish on frame, bolt and lever. Barrel and tube retain at least 90% of what appears to be original blue. Stocks are solid having been refinished with chip at upper right wrist.
