Barrel is stamped "INLAND MANUFACTURING DIVISION GENERAL MOTORS". Carbine features Type II late rear sight pinned, rear rivet handguard, bayonet sleeve, has a replacement stock with no visible cartouche. Painted on bottom of pistol grip is 71/96 which indicates use by the 96th unit in 1971 during Vietnam. CONDITION: Retains 90% of the Arsenal matte parkerized finish, which imply that it was redone prior to Vietnam. Fine bore and action.
