U.S. M-1 Carbine made by Inland Division of General Motors between May 1942 and December 1943. 18" "Inland Mfg. Div /General Motors." marked "10-43" dated barrel with "P" stamp and standard military front sight and early flip rear sight with no import markings. "INLAND" marked stamped trigger group with push button safety. Correct flat blued "IO" marked bolt with "PI" marked slide. Correct walnut high wood "IO" marked stock, uncut for M-2. "IO" marked walnut 2 rivet topwood. Comes with G.I. woven sling and oiler with "AI" marked 10 round magazine and 4 extra 10 round magazines. CONDITION: 90% original arsenal finish with light carry wear. Wood has light usage marks and dings with traces of original surface. Good bore with ME of 2 and good crisp mechanics. Great World War II gun.
