Manufactured in 1961. Blued trap barrel with wide matted ventilated rib, orange Ithaca RAYBAR front sight, mid rib bead, and ejector. Light flourishes of engraving are on each side at the breech. Grade 4 engraved case hardened action with trap shooter panel scene on left and bow hunting Native American on the right. Nicely figured, gloss finished wide competition style forend. Figured walnut stock with fleur-de-lis pattern carved and checkered pistol grip, blank toe line escutcheon, and red rubber Ithaca recoil pad. CONDITION: Near excellent. Nearly all of the factory blue is retained on the barrel other than a few light marks. Receiver displays strong and bright case colors with some fading, especially on the underside. Trigger guard and lower tang have some expected thinning and wear. Forend has a repair on the left side towards the breech and also shows some other scattered nicks and dings. Stock is fine with a few impressions and some adhesive residue on the toe line. Bore is bright, showing use. Fine mechanics.
