Manufactured in 1944 by J.P. Sauer. Features include blued finish, hooded blade front sight, tangent rear, "H" Heer acceptance stamped laminate stocks, late war stamped mounts, and cupped butt plate. Externally visible numbers matching. No visible import markings. Complete with period leather sling. CONDITION: Very Good. Rifle retains approximately 90% arsenal blue with some fading and mild wear, especially on the bottom metal. Stock appears lightly cleaned with an added coat of finish, light dings and nicks throughout. Strong bore with some fouling. Fine mechanics.
